I am totally in love with these chairs. I wish you could fully appreciate how disgusting the seat covers are though. Any suggestions for replacement fabric? Maybe zebra stripe? Care Bears? I do have both.Table with leaf, DI, $40:
Pretty bad surface, but sturdy in construction. Turned legs a monster to sand for refinishing. But, we desperately need a bigger table instead of using the small table and the bar for family meals. Wouldn't it be lovely if the ugly pine table could match the lovely mahogany chairs?Stay tuned......

Isn't there some way you can stain the table maybe? My grandpa would know, but I've never done anything like that. I love love love the chairs by the way! I say Zebra stripes :)
Yes, my lovely friend, I have stained it. It had to sit for a week, then get waxed (with the real stuff, mind you) and is awaiting the big reveal. Probably tomorrow! Funny how we both looked at that and had the same idea.
