Thing Two has always had great ideas for his Halloween costumes. When he gets behind a costume idea, he runs with it. Like this one:
Witch doctor. Almost completely no sew. I made the vest from a really cheap remnant, used chicken bones and "buttonholes" to hold it together. Grass skirt I picked up at the thrift store. Shells & raffia armbands, headdress with more chicken bones and some leftover feathers from another project. He loved this costume.
It was great. He didn't like the lipstick on his face so much. But he endured it. Because of this:
NOTHING could make an eight-year-old boy as happy as a "shrunken head" necklace made from Barbie heads.
